How to ping a site

Hit windows button on your keyboard or click on the start button at left down corner  and at the run box type CMD and then press enter.Or begin to type command prompt and it will be appear automatically and press enter to run
command prompt .
In the dos box type :    ping www.address.***    for example:  ping www.cnn.com

At the statistics you can see:
The IP of the site like [157.166.255.18]
The packets that sended , the packets you received and the packets that you lose.

At the end of  statistics you can see the milli-seconds (like 65ms) .The lower  value is better. It means that there is a good connection to both sites and the time that needed to send and receive packets is low.

By this way you can find the ip of the site too.
